If you sat down to play a game with Mike, you might think that he’s a relatively new gamer. His love of the tried and true tabletop RPG practice of killing monsters and taking their stuff, coupled with his one-dimensional character choices and building make Mike appear to be a new inductee to the world of role-playing games.
You’d be wrong. So very wrong.
Mike has been gaming for at least ten years, but for reasons known only to him, he has never left that early treasure loving and hoarding phase that most gamers go through. Perhaps it’s because he has simple tastes, perhaps he really likes treasure, or perhaps because he once joined a group that played nothing but story-telling, GM-less games; either way, Mike has been stuck in the same rut since he first picked up his dice.
Mike joined the current group not long after Earl and Sam started to put it together. Mike admires Sam’s attention to the rules, but does not try and emulate it. He rarely touches magic using classes and readily admits he wouldn’t know what to do with them anyway, as they can’t swing a sword worth a damn.
In the series, Mike is played by Wayne Cole.
